Biography
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience working in community mental health, developmental services, and private practice. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings including residential programs, day treatment, and outpatient care, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health needs and life challenges.
My background includes working with adults, adolescents, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship stress. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex presentations, including those with developmental differences and histories of significant stress or transition. In addition to my clinical work, I have held leadership roles focused on program development, family support coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
My clinical approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and integrative. I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and nervous system–informed approaches. I focus on helping clients better understand their internal responses, identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop practical tools to support regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.
I believe that each person’s story has value and meaning, and that healing happens within a safe and supportive relationship. My role is to walk alongside clients with empathy and compassion, helping them build insight, develop practical skills, and move toward a greater sense of balance, confidence, and connection in their lives.
