    Biography

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with ten years of therapeutic experience. I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work from Salve Regina University and went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Simmons University. Over the course of my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as their families, across diverse settings including schools, group homes, residential programs, and community settings. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, and developmental disabilities.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and often infused with humor, as I believe the therapeutic process should feel both safe and engaging. I primarily utilize play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), tailoring my work to the unique needs of each client and family. I am especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults, and I strive to help them build on their strengths, develop new coping strategies, and foster resilience as they navigate life’s challenges. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and empowered to work toward meaningful growth and positive change. I look forward to working together and supporting you on your journey.
