    Biography

Simóne Dorsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Services with double minors in American Ethnic Studies and Spanish from Kansas State University. She later earned a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Couples and Family Therapy from North Dakota State University.

Simóne is certified in Narrative therapy and is independently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the state of Maine. Simóne is a bi-lingual, sex positive, queer therapist of color who believes clients are the authors and experts of their lives. With the use of Narrative Therapy, Simóne puts the client in the driver’s seat with the therapist riding shotgun. She will help you navigate; you drive the car.

Simone has experience with a variety of populations including foster care & adoptions, Medication Assisted Treatment, detox and residential treatment. Her passion, however, lies in systemic relationships. Her current work focuses on the exploration of alternative relationship structures (CNM / ENM /polyamory), neurodivergence in relationships, sex therapy and, of course, couples therapy. Simóne seeks to help others open their minds (and relationships) to new ways of relating to one another. In her downtime, you can find Simóne geeking out to true crime and nature documentaries while hanging out with her main man (cat), Bartholomew.
